A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and longtime Louisiana resident passed away peacefully at the age of 84.
He was known for his steady hands, patient heart, and dependable nature. He worked hard all his life and believed that a person’s word should mean something. Whether fixing something around the house, helping a neighbor, or giving advice from the porch, he was the kind of man people knew they could count on.
He loved early mornings, strong coffee, LSU games, old country music, and spending time outside. His grandchildren will remember his stories, his gentle teasing, and the way he always had time to listen. He had a deep love for his family and was proud of the life they built together.
He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and several siblings.
Please contact the family for funeral arrangements.
