A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 82 years old.
Born and raised in South Louisiana, she spent her life caring for others, keeping a welcoming home, and making sure no one ever left her table hungry. She had a quiet strength, a gentle smile, and a way of making everyday moments feel special. Her family will remember her for her homemade meals, her love of flowers, her handwritten birthday cards, and the comfort she brought simply by being present.
She enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoon, watching old movies, working word puzzles, and visiting with family over coffee. She took pride in her children and grandchildren and considered her family her greatest blessing.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and several beloved siblings.
