Dorothy “Jane” Allen Denzinger passed away peacefully with her husband Rob by her side on March 20, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jane was born on September 3, 1937 to Frank and Jane Matthai Allen in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from High School in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, then began college as a music major at Transylvania University, followed by the University of Kentucky, where she met the love of her life, Rob. The couple married in 1957 and began a life in New Orleans, raising four daughters in Slidell, Louisiana, where Jane started a stained glass business, constructing windows for local builders.

They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1981. Finding themselves as empty nesters, Jane returned to college, earning a BA in Commercial Art from Tulsa University, graduating cum laude. She worked at Saint Francis Hospital as a graphic designer before moving to Denver, Colorado, Midland, Texas, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Sun Lakes, Arizona. Jane worked during this time at America West Airlines as a flight attendant, allowing the couple to travel the world.

Upon retirement, the couple lived in Denton, Texas, where Jane started Trademarx, a business of creating stationery, invitations and personalized paper goods. They moved to Montereau in Tulsa in 2014, where Jane continued her business.

Jane’s southern hospitality knew no bounds. She and Rob hosted many parties, the highlight of which was their annual Kentucky Derby party. She was loved by so many friends wherever she went, most recently while residing at Montereau.

Jane is survived by her husband of 68 years, Rob Denzinger, her daughters Ellen and Mike Walker, Teresa Still, Karla and Roland St. John, and Richie Denzinger (all in the Tulsa area),  as well as 10 grand-children and 9 great grand-children. She is also survived by her brother, Woody and Dee Allen, Mount Sterling, Kentucky.

A funeral mass was held on April 15 at Church of the Resurrection. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jane’s memory to the Montereau Benevolent Fund.
